Job Description
INFUSE seeks a remote Associate In-House Counsel to provide legal support for business operations, contracts, and compliance. Join our innovative team to safeguard growth and mitigate risks in a dynamic tech environment.
Full Description
INFUSE is seeking a talented Associate In-House Counsel to join our remote legal team. This pivotal role supports the company's rapid expansion by delivering expert legal guidance on contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management, directly contributing to our mission of revolutionizing marketing technology solutions for global brands.
As Associate In-House Counsel, you will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, partnership deals, and customer terms of service. Daily tasks involve advising business units on legal risks in marketing campaigns and data privacy matters, conducting legal research on emerging regulations like GDPR and CCPA, and collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure compliant product launches. Weekly, you will prepare memos on compliance updates and participate in cross-functional meetings to align legal strategies with business goals. Monthly responsibilities include managing litigation responses, updating corporate policies, and tracking key metrics such as contract turnaround time and risk mitigation success rates. You may also support M&A due diligence and intellectual property protection efforts, fostering a proactive legal framework that empowers INFUSE's innovation.
Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and possess an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with preference for California or New York bar admission. We require 3-5 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience in technology or marketing sectors, with proven expertise in contract law, data privacy, and corporate governance. Familiarity with SaaS agreements, subscription models, and advertising regulations is essential, alongside proficiency in legal tech tools like DocuSign, ContractWorks, and Westlaw. Strong academic credentials and any certifications in privacy law, such as CIPP/US, will set you apart.
Success in this role demands exceptional analytical skills to dissect complex legal issues, combined with superior written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders at all levels. You should exhibit meticulous attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment, and a collaborative spirit for partnering with diverse teams. Strategic thinking, ethical judgment, and adaptability to evolving tech landscapes are critical competencies that will drive your impact at INFUSE.
