Monthly, prepare reports on litigation risks, manage intellectual property filings including patents and trademarks for our infusion tech innovations, and collaborate with executive leadership on M&A due diligence. You will partner closely with sales, product development, finance, and HR teams to negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and develop policies that support business objectives. Additionally, oversee external counsel engagements, track key legal metrics like contract turnaround time and compliance audit scores, and contribute to training programs on ethical practices, ensuring all deliverables align with company goals. To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with preference for California or New York bar admission. We require 3-5 years of in-house counsel or law firm experience in technology, healthcare, or biotech industries, with proven expertise in contract law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Familiarity with healthcare-specific regulations such as HIPAA, FDA approvals, and telehealth laws is essential, alongside proficiency in legal tech tools like DocuSign, ContractWorks, and Westlaw. Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment are non-negotiable.
