Job Description
INFUSE seeks a remote Associate In-House Counsel to provide legal support for business operations, contracts, and compliance. Join our innovative team to safeguard growth while working flexibly from anywhere in the US.
Full Description
INFUSE is seeking a talented Associate In-House Counsel to join our dynamic legal team in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role will provide essential legal guidance to support our rapidly expanding technology-driven enterprise, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and enabling strategic business initiatives. As a key partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in protecting the company's interests and fostering sustainable growth in a competitive market.
In this position, you will handle a diverse array of legal matters on a daily basis, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts such as vendor agreements, partnership deals, and customer contracts. Weekly, you will conduct legal research on emerging regulations in technology, data privacy, and intellectual property, advising departments on compliance strategies. Monthly responsibilities encompass managing litigation risks, preparing board updates on legal exposures, and collaborating with HR on employment matters like policy development and dispute resolution. You will partner closely with sales, product, finance, and engineering teams to structure transactions, review marketing materials for legal accuracy, and support M&A due diligence processes. Additionally, you will develop internal training programs on key legal topics and track key metrics such as contract turnaround times and compliance audit outcomes to drive efficiency.
To succeed in this role, candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of at least one US state bar, preferably with 3-5 years of relevant in-house or law firm experience in technology or SaaS industries. Proficiency in contract management tools like DocuSign, Ironclad, or ContractZen, along with strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy laws, is essential. Experience with IP portfolio management, corporate governance, and regulatory filings is highly desired. Ideal candidates bring a proven track record of handling high-volume contract workflows and providing pragmatic legal advice in fast-paced environments.
The ideal candidate excels in analytical thinking, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders. You should demonstrate strong negotiation prowess, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first culture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis, and project management tools such as Asana is required. A proactive problem-solver with business acumen and adaptability to evolving tech landscapes will stand out.
