INFUSE seeks a remote Associate In-House Counsel to provide legal support for business operations, contracts, and compliance. Join our innovative team to safeguard growth and mitigate risks in a dynamic tech environment.

Full Description

INFUSE is seeking a talented Associate In-House Counsel to join our remote legal team. This pivotal role supports the company's rapid expansion by delivering expert legal guidance on a wide range of matters, ensuring compliance, protecting intellectual property, and facilitating strategic business initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to innovate and scale securely in the competitive tech landscape. As Associate In-House Counsel, you will draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership deals, and customer contracts, handling 10-15 documents weekly. Daily tasks include providing legal advice to departments like sales, marketing, and product on regulatory compliance, data privacy under GDPR and CCPA, and risk assessments for new projects. Weekly, you will conduct legal research on emerging laws in tech and cybersecurity, collaborate with executives on policy development, and prepare memos on potential litigation risks. Monthly responsibilities encompass managing intellectual property portfolios, overseeing trademark filings, supporting M&A due diligence processes, and tracking key metrics such as contract turnaround time under 48 hours and zero compliance violations. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including finance and HR, and may mentor junior legal staff on best practices. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and possess an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state, with bar admission in good standing. We require 3-5 years of relevant experience in-house at a tech company or in a corporate law practice, with proven expertise in commercial contracting, corporate governance, and technology transactions. Familiarity with SaaS agreements, subscription models, and cloud computing legal issues is essential. Preferred qualifications include certifications in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/US) and experience with international contracts. Success in this role demands strong analytical skills for dissecting complex legal issues, proficiency in contract management tools like DocuSign and Ironclad, and knowledge of AI and cybersecurity regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication is crucial for advising stakeholders clearly, alongside keen attention to detail, problem-solving prowess, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote setting. Collaborative competencies and business acumen will help you align legal strategies with INFUSE's growth objectives.
